I come from Myanmar—warm in spirit, shaped by beauty and hardship: unrest, floods, earthquakes. From that contrast, my voice emerged.

I begin with meditation, letting stillness clarify what is true. I work as both a painter and a performance artist. My canvases hold layered colour and shifting forms—never fully “clear,” yet always carrying the feeling: childhood energy, release, and the calm that follows. As a Buddhist, I believe emotion can settle into peace, and that peace runs through my work. --- Aye Ko

We have known Aye Ko for over 16 years. In Hong Kong, we presented two exhibitions with him and also invited him to present solo performance art—moments that revealed the truth and freedom at the heart of his practice.

Through his paintings and performances, Aye Ko expresses emotion with rare openness: direct, unguarded, and alive. His colours arrive in layers; forms shift and dissolve, yet the feeling stays—energy, release, and the calm that follows.

At Clover Art, we are committed to introducing different cultures to audiences on an international platform, and Aye Ko’s voice continues to be a powerful bridge between worlds.
